The mission of the Walker College Foundation is to support education and economic growth in Walker County by providing scholarships and support to the Walker College campus of Bevill State Community College. Students apply for scholarships through Bevill State Community College and are awarded Foundation scholarships based on wishes of the original endowment benefactor. WCF partners with Bevill State for 2017 Read Alabama season

As a proud partner of the Read Alabama: The Tradition Continues program, we are excited to share the schedule for the 2017 season with you. The program is free to the public and provides a rare opportunity for students and community members to meet and spend time with published Alabama authors. Sessions begin at 4 p.m. with an opening reception at 3:30 p.m. in Mathews Lecture Hall - Wade Math & Science Building - Bevill State Community College - Walker College Campus.

WCF Scholars chosen to participate in National Student Leadership Society

WCF scholars Josie Walker, Jonathan Sargent, Trenton Burton, Lynsie Taylor, Brittany Cagle, Molli Clark, Diego Pascual, and Savannah Freeman were recently selected by Bevill State to join the National Student Leadership Society. The Society provides leadership training and scholarship opportunities, and membership is for life.

Dr. Jack L. Mott Endowed Scholarship fund established with WCF

The Walker College Foundation (WCF) recently announced the establishment of the Dr. Jack L. Mott Endowed Scholarship Fund. Jack passed away on May 29, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He will be missed.
